Playing Golf at the Denzerheide

“Denzerheide” is one of the most beautiful and traditional golf courses in Germany. A real championship course, which is not only called that way but which indeed is a course where meaningful national championships have been held for more than 50 years now. The MGC is the venue of the Golf Bundesliga (Federal League) of the Deutscher Golf Verband (German Golf Association) on a regular basis. Every two years the German team champion is determined here.
The golf course of the health resort Bad Ems, which was erected between 1928 and 1930, gained a world-wide reputation up until the Second World War. In 1953, it was taken back into operation and has been attracting more and more golf enthusiasts since then. Bernhard Langer, for example, also visited this golf course once and felt very comfortable.
With its 18 holes and a slope of around 130 precision and condition are demanded here. An improvement of the handicap, though, can only be achieved in a mental way, despite the necessary technique people might have. Calmness, a good spirit and body coordination connected with the fun of playing – this is what matters. One can also say that “golf is a moving meditation”.
